The Association is committed to improving the political and regulatory landscape for charter students, families and operators at the local, state, and federal levels. With about 560 charter schools in Arizona, we are a powerful force when united. The Association provides targeted advocacy at the legislature, is a voice for charter schools on state policy issues and fights for charter students and teachers in the courts.
Public schools serving public students. Charter schools are contracted with the state with the purpose of providing excellent academic options for all students and parents.
Arizona charter students make up nearly 20% of the public school population in our state.
